Frequently asked questions
Do I need club stickers or marked golf balls with the Uneekor EYE XO?
The Uneekor EYE XO works with any golf ball, with no marked balls needed, thanks to Uneekor's Dimple Optix technology, which reads the ball's actual dimple pattern for spin. Club stickers are required for club data. Ball data works without stickers.
What ceiling height does the Uneekor EYE XO need?
The Uneekor EYE XO mounts on the ceiling 9 to 10 feet above the hitting mat, in front of the golfer. A ceiling of 9.5 feet or higher is recommended for comfortable driver swings. Minimum room dimensions are about 10 feet wide, 9 feet high, and 16 feet deep.
What is the difference between the Uneekor EYE XO and EYE XO2?
The Uneekor EYE XO and EYE XO2 measure the same 24 ball and club data points. The EYE XO2 adds a third high speed camera, which expands the hitting zone from 12" x 16" to 28" x 21" and adds Trouble Mat compatibility for rough and bunker lies. The EYE XO costs less and suits golfers who hit from one consistent spot.
Can left and right handed golfers use the Uneekor EYE XO?
Yes. Because the Uneekor EYE XO is mounted overhead, it works for both right and left handed golfers with no moving the unit.
What simulator software works with the Uneekor EYE XO?
The Uneekor EYE XO includes Uneekor's software with a virtual driving range, and it works with third party simulator software including GSPro, E6 Connect, and TGC 2019, sold separately.
Does the Uneekor EYE XO work with a Mac or iPad?
No. The Uneekor EYE XO requires a Windows PC, connected by Ethernet. It does not run on a Mac or iPad.
Is the Uneekor EYE XO still a good buy now that the EYE XO2 is out?
Yes, for many golfers. The Uneekor EYE XO delivers the same 24 data points and accuracy as the EYE XO2 at a lower price. What you give up is the larger hitting zone and Trouble Mat compatibility of the EYE XO2.
