    Ordering Guidelines

    Width

    • Wall to wall: order a standard system 6" less than your wall to wall width.
    • Tighter fit: contact sales for a custom system just 3" less than your wall to wall width.
    • Viewable width: side panels sit 6" in from each edge, so your visible screen is 1 ft narrower than the width you order. A 12 ft system shows an 11 ft screen.

    Height

    • Choose the height you are mounting the system at, usually your ceiling height.
    • Between sizes? Round up. A 9'8" ceiling takes the 10 ft option. A 9'2" ceiling takes the 9'6" option. We add extra material so the screen wraps securely around the roller tube.
    • Mounting above 10' (up to 14'): still select your mounting height, rounding up. We add black extension material that brings the screen down to the proper height. Viewable height stays 10 ft.

    Side panel depth

    • 4.5 ft and 6 ft are the most popular and work with every screen width.
    • 7 to 9 ft sides need a screen at least 14 ft wide to hit from the center.
    • With deep sides on a narrower screen, plan to hit about 1 to 2 ft off center so your driver clears the side panel.

    Ceiling foam kit (recommended)

    • Custom foam wedges protect the main roller, and 1x1 charcoal gray foam tiles cover the ceiling back to the depth of your side panels.
    • Protects your ceiling from mishits and completes the full enclosure look.
    • Installs with construction adhesive such as Liquid Nails.

    Mounting in a garage

Order a system 6" less than the width between your garage door rails. You need about 10" of clearance from the rails to the ceiling. Replace a center mounted garage door motor with a side mounted motor if you do not have one already. We recommend this for every garage simulator, since it frees up ceiling space for your screen, projector, and launch monitor.
